Read my post. I did not say that everything would be healthy or ok, I just said it will be way different. What these people have done, is create a perfect political storm. This is pure politics, not health care. Or reform. The Dems can say we did something, the Reps can say we are trying to save America. As we get closer and closer to the big costs, the debt will come more and more into focus, and it will get somewhat fixed.

Jeez, you folks act like the people in Washington are there to do something and to govern. Newsflash: They are only there to self-perpetuate.

Dems think the best course is healthcare reform, the Reps think the best course is obstruction and being nattering nabobs of negativsm (a Rep phrase by the way). The ones that remain in office will be right. The ones that get voted out will be wrong, and we will still be waitin for something good to happen.

Just remember, health care in this country is badly badly broke, but this ain't the fix.

    No I totally get that.
I try and make fun of people who stick up for their leader or bash one side and not the other.
This is what I don't understand.
It is no more broke than Illegals, SS, political reform, education reform or anything else.
There lies the problem, instead of Obama and the Dems breaking promise after promise about working with the other side of the aisle and being transparent they have turned to mob mentality and broke almost every rule along the way.

Obama and the Dems really had a chance to do something good and blew it!

What are the requirements to become a Representative? Are you suggesting the members of Congress are more qualified than the average American? There are many examples of idiots in Congress (Sheila Jackson Lee) who know far less than the average American.

So my question is...How many in Congress are qualified to give a valuable answer? How many Obama voters can't even count to 10?...yet they still have the right to vote, correct?

ACORN has no expertise at anything except voter fraud yet somehow the Democrats claim they're capable of a honest Census count. Sounds like typical hypocrisy from the left again.

Thanks for the example. I am seeing where you are coming from, and i understand the argument. The government runs social security and screwed it up. the government runs the post office and screwed it up, medicare, medicaid, screwed those up too. So what is the answer?

The things that most concern me are, the fact that the cost of everything is going up, yet wages are not, companies are getting rid of employees to save money, so now they expect less employees to do more work, and won't compensate for that. Throw in medical costs for people who run into some bad luck, and the middle class is slowly being weeded out.

    What is the answer?

What is the answer? Get a 2nd job. Mow lawns. Catch crawfish. Whatever. Do what you have to do.

I do that, i try and work side jobs when they are available, but that isn't what i am talking about. Why have corporations and banks been awarded while the American people are hung out to dry?
