    what i am wondering...

if this thing passes and is signed into law, and one or more states sue the federal govt over citizens forced to purchase insurance, will that put just that section of the law on ice, or the whole thing?

It is a challenge to the law in it's entirety. So far it appears that 38 states have lined up against it. And gee, not all have republican governors.

What a silly bunch of neo-cons.

granted, this is not a scientific poll, yada yada. but still, the overwhelming numbers pretty much say it all. even if it is off by a large margin, the numbers still would not be good for the dems.

Well, that's nice. At last we are getting around to really sticking it to those evil investors.

Think any unions will get hit with this one? Not.

I had heard of this one. 10% on tanning. Tanning? Really???

Which are spent elsewhere by funding the expansion of same program. But magically gets counted as a cut, instead of a transfer. And you know damn well they won't cut a dime of it, so instead of reducing by 500 billion, medicare is going to expand by 1 trillion, in just this portion.

Now where did I leave that spare trillion??

You mean all the states that are mostly bankrupt and having to cut spending because they can't print $ like the fed. Ok.

And then who pays? Well, the states of course. They can handle it. Just look at California. :)

Yep, your federal tax dollars WILL fund abortion. Congrats. If we could just write a bill to start killing anyone over 30, then we could make some real progress in this healthcare reform.

Apparently Logan's Run was not fiction after all.

even if they dont care about the first few, you would think the last few would get their attention.

    but if not.....

Yep!...and it's not a Fox poll so it will be interesting to see how the liberals in TF spin this one.

But then again...the Democrats keep saying we're too stupid to understand important issues so the "chosen ones" have to tell us what we really need. :nope:

Is it ok now if I can call all those who support this bill and everything about it just STUPID or LIBERAL hack or both?
This isn't even including all the special deals, bribery back room deals just to get the Dems united to vote yes.

which, to be honest, is why the extreme numbers surprised me a bit. i mean, i knew the sentiment was against it, but even so, being "non-scientific" and "non-fox" those are still some damn big numbers.

as a moderate being opposed to this, i cant help but think a lot of moderates in the democratic party must be against this. that really is not gonna help their party registration numbers. or their chances in the november mid-terms.
