As for the centrist and the GOP, who knows what they will introduce but you can bet it won't be something that will tank us to the tune of a few TRILLION bucks. What you and the rest of the dems and libs don't get is no one is saying HC doesn't need reform, just not This bill. 73% of America says they want to start over. I'll go with them.

So, if you see a 16-18 yr old girl dressed in a short skirt, crop top, with her chest heaving out of the top, and she happens to be very nicely built, with a very pretty face, it makes you a sicko for thinking she is hot? Now I can see if you act on it, yeh that’s sick.
Now if you are hanging around your local High School I would say that definately puts you in this catagory, but just walking thru the mall while shopping not so sure you really have a problem.
Is it better than nothing? Nothing is what industry is willing to pay for your degree. The fact that government isn't perfect doesn't make it bad nor does private enterprise always step up to the plate. What are you talking about? Private insurance companies are going to be handling all this. There is no Canadian-style socialized medicine in it. There is no European-style single-payer system in it. There is certainly no Soviet-style state medical buerau that all the health providers work for. There is no public insurance left in the plan. What exactly does this "takeover" consist of? Do you really know? No offense, but I think you have a misplaced fear that the sky is falling, Chicken Little.
