Others disagree, of course. It's not just about saving money, its about improving efficiency, reducing errors, and saving lives. Are you actually proposing that the medical industry not move into the 21st century along with the rest of the world? A world that is going paperless very rapidly and conducting more and more business on the net. If they rest, they rust. I find it hard to believe that a hospital would require more computer techs to handle record-keeping than a small army of secretaries and file clerks trying to keep rooms of paper files retrievable and in order. Other industries have gone digital long ago without incurring these issues. I'd say hospitals already have a huge waste problem ($40 kleenex boxes, $20 toothbrushes, etc) and they apparently waste effort, too.

Last year I went to the emergency room at 3:00 AM with severe abdominal pain. They did a CT scan but there was no radiologist available at night in the hospital, but because it produced a digital record, they sent the image over the internet to a doctor in Australia who diagnosed a kidney stone, emailed the diagnosis back immediately, and they had me in a room, out of pain, and treating me before breakfast.

The medical business really has no choice but to automate and digitize to provide proper care. We can either dick around or get 'r done.

That is not my account. Don't put words in my mouth. Speak for yourself.

There are democrats who want changes in this bill, but it is the republicans who are trying to kill it entirely, even though they don't represent the majority of the American people despite their rhetoric. They wouldn't be the minority party if they were. America rejected the republican agenda in two elections and most are not ready to go back to it, even if they are conflicted about this plan.

It won’t be just a measly $1 Trillion dollars if they force that Marxist monstrosity on the American people against their will, it will easily be double or triple that, and it also will probably be the final nail in our coffin, which, per Cloward and Pivens, Obama and most Democrats are hoping and praying for.

For if America collapses, the rest of the world will also all fall just like dominoes. Then the Marxist can pick up the pieces and create that great big one world governance and social utopia like morons they all ache for and dream of. Except before that can happen, their partners in crime, the Muslims, will execute them all as useful idiots, just as always happens.
