Factual, albeit slanted, reportage is not propaganda. Catch Fox News in a lie (Dan Rather?) then come talk to me.
While I don't like HF this post seems interesting: The Ten Most Egregious Fox News Distortions (VIDEO)
yes it is propaganda, at its worse because its harder to see. they pick what they want to report---and dont do a good job of it but what is this thread about? who said what?
The White House communications director said Fox was not a legitimate news organization. For the most part, yes. Most of the coverage was marginal at best before Fox started getting agressive with their advertising about it. I really dont care who covers what and what news group says the other does. This is free speech and to each his own. People can watch what they want and decide if what they watch is good, bad, right, wrong or whatever. The point is government, especially the White House, does not need to try and muzzle a legitimate news network. Foreign press is beating up on the White House because of this, domestic press is beating up on the white house because of this and the loser here will be the White House. Its really a stupid stand to make and a blunder by those in charge of making such a ridiculous stand.
