Nothing but Respect!

    TheDude I'm calmer than you.

No I don't expect I will just "get over it". Respect is respect and 1 or 2 losses is a huge difference, but you are telling me that ALL the 1 loss teams in front of us had a tougher schedule or more QUALITY wins? I don't buy that at all. Notre Dame in front of us for what? Beating Penn st? Wow, they have turned out to be a powerhouse this season. They face Michigan at home and get DRUMMED! West Virgina? They played one ranked opponent this season and got DRUMMED! USC play one ranked opponent, Nebraska ( joke ) and they lose to an UNRANKED team.

Yep we have two road losses, #3 and #5 at the time, beat #8 on the road, and the quality of our schedules/losses/wins are supposed to be comparable? I think LSU has shot themselves in the foot all season, but I don't have to hang my head about our schedule at all. Some of the teams in front of us don't have to hang their heads either, but it is simply because the press overlooks it in their frenzy to make the PAC 10 and Big East look legitmate for the championship game. If your only arguement for these teams is that they are undefeated, then why not put Boise St up for the championship as well?

Lack of respect in the media and by the coaches nation wide is not a new concept. Last year when USC is rolling, all you ever heard was 3peat and rarely was it ever mentioned that they shared the national title with us. However, you flip it to LSU coverage and it is always demonstrated that it was only shared with USC.

Say what you want, but the polls are a reflection of respect, regardless of where we rank or what bowl we go to. Moving 1 spot for beating #8 on the road is just disrespectful and that was my only point.
