We can say anything as we hold no position in court. We don’t have to presume innocence. Trump doesn’t either but can’t say it in public. He has an office and in essence speaks for the state. If he pleads guilty it’s moot. Otherwise the state(judge and jury) must presume innocence or the trial is a travesty. Likewise as Trump as chief law enforcement officer and a leader should keep his mouth shut except to say justice will be done.
No shit but it doesn’t matter. Many are caught red handed yet still are tried. In the time leading up to the trial and during it until a verdict is reached and sentence pronounced Trump and every other officer of the state except prosecutors can’t assume guilt. Otherwise you have a kangaroo court and state sponsored lynchings.
I dislike trump as much as you but Trump stating the obvious does not make it a kangaroo court. After all he is the head of the executive ie prosecution not the courts.
