W had many faults and failures during his 8 years as president. However like his father how he has comported himself since becoming a private citizen speaks volumes to his quality as a human being. The article below is not unique to stories of how he has handled himself but again shows who he truly is. Good for you Mr President.

I have always contended that Dubya , while never the sharpest tool in the box was always genuine. He truly cared and wore that on his sleeve proudly. The same cannot be said for the current prez.

I never thought GWB was a bad man, quite the contrary.....I just disagree with a lot of his world view.

Obama sucks but worst ever is huge stretch.

And as far as Bush, he was just way out of his league. I have trouble with the whole he cares thing, because he did collect 100,000 dollars to speak to veterans. Clearly veterans who were there weren't pleased. One former marine who lost both hands in Faleujah said it was a slap in the face. He seems like just a good ole boy who would have been ok to drink a beer with but that bothers me.

W did a credible job his first term. Was his 2nd term was his undoing. 9/11 happened relatively early in his presidency. It was reasurring to hear him talk about finding the evildoers and bringing them to justice. Would Obamahammad have even called them evildoers.

Don't know if this is based on fact but in the movie W when Bush had lost his first election for Congress he said "Nobody will ever out Texas me again."

Ironically, now W and Bubba Clinton are very close personal friends. What I wouldn't give to be a fly on the wall to hear some of those conversations. Why did I say that? I hate that expression. If I was a fly I wouldn't be able to understand English and I might get swatted. And flies eat shit. Euww!
