How does anyone know he didn't shake hands or give hugs no one on this board was in that room. Media will spin everything to add flavor to a story. He looks like a class guy and since I haven't seen him walk on water yet he will make mistakes!

 

There’s video of him speaking and then leaving. But it’s just a tough situation. Like was said, the jet was waiting. No good way to do it.

Such a complicated issue. Was going to get criticized no matter what he did. If he would’ve waited his first recruiting class at his new location was likely going to be in shambles. By leaving early the “team” he’s been selling to these young men rings hollow. What hurts worse to me is none of his staff wants to follow. He’s basically starting from scratch. Before criticizing, Riley did basically the same thing and I believe some of his staff is following him. I hope there is no deeper meaning…

 

Remember only Mel Tucker followed Saban from Michigan State. Also Freeman got promoted to HC and likely it was easier for the staff to stay in a comfortable position rather than make a big change.
Let’s see who he gets and how recruiting is before we make a snap judgment.
