Not that I'm taking up for him .....but having met the man, he's not as bad as you'd think. Not flaming.
I believe Fran was referring to renewing the series between LSU and A&M. I know there are a lot of you old Tigers who hate the Aggies, just as there are Ags that hate LSU. I am of the younger generation and think it would be great to renew the series. I am not sure about the Reliant Stadium meet-in-the-middle thing, but a home and home series would be good. Warm up that gumbo!
I would like to renew the series with A&M, too. It was a good one. Not annually but every four years or so would be great. I don't hate A&M at all. I despise Dennis Franchione for something he did at Bama, but I don't hold that against A&M. The jarhead haircuts are a litttle strange, but A&M has a fine football tradition to match our own and the old games were great. The Aggie band out-marches anybody. Of course the Golden Girls kind of wipe out those silly Aggies in the riding pants and boots. Of course, Nick would love to schedule one with fRan, I imagine.
