where was this matt flynn during the IOWA game? haha good job matt in stepping up... I wish we had this kind of gameplan more often... AIR IT OUT!
Yea, what gives? JR does this dozens of times per game, the commentators never say this about him. Smacks of favoritism to me..but hey, Matt is playing like the champ I thought he'd be last year. Very happy for him...but no QB controversy for me as of now.

Flynn is also playing against a tired bottom tier defense... i remember last years iowa game when he looked like Josh Booty
I'm glad to see him getting some reps and making some plays. Shows we have some depth. But before we get to excited we have to remember he is playing against less talent right now than he faced in the Texas State HS playoffs.
