The ones who are quickest to call somebody a fag are the ones I always wonder about the most. I rarely even think about gay people. The ones who are obsessed . . . can't seem to get them off their minds.

It's like posting girly pictures for an avatar. Makes you wonder if they are . . . compensating for something. :hihi:

poor cigarettes. anyway, how can you hate liberals, liberals have done alot for this country, as have conservatives. if there is nothing you are liberal about, then i feel sorry for you bro, im neither. there are some things i am liberal about, there are some things im conservative about.

i can understand if there are some liberals you hate, because there are some i hate also, but there are just as many conservatives that deserve to get the gallows as there are liberals.

I'd try to "sub-quote" this thing but it would just be too much work. In case any of you missed Cali's refrence to "the ground freezing" let me clear it up for you. N. Korea aint going anywhere until that happens. There is not going to be any naval war, or air attacks from N. Korea. They just don't have the umph. They do however have EVERY high value area of S Korea documented as a pre plotted artillery target. If you have ever been there you know that every major road has these giant elevated concrete blocks placed in the oddest of places? They are all pre rigged with explosives to drop down and render the roadway impassible. Hence the "ground freezing". Off the road is rice paddies and not tanks, not jeeps, not self propelled howitizers not anything is getting through that crap unless it is frozen.

On a side note, it has long been said that our presence in S. Korea is not to deter the N. Koreans from taking Soeul, but to prevent the opposite. Our mission their is not front line defense, it is to fall back and provide support to the S. Koreans should anything ever go down.

Tirk, you are the shiznizzle. Continue to give em hell bro!

Which happens every winter, unfortunately. Road obstacles will definitely slow an advance and make a column a sitting duck for air attack and artillery. But no matter how massive, they won't survive long once their engineers get there and blow them. North Korea is heavy with infantry and are bound to have a plan for a summer offensive and may be crazy enough to try it. But likely you are right. If they get their choice, they will come over in the middle of winter, in the middle of a storm, in the middle of the night. Maximizes their mobility and minimizes our airpower.

Interesting. That would mean that we are actually keeping the Chinese placated by remaining in South Korea. But it's going to be awfully hard to keep the ROK from going uphill if North Korea collapses. The Chinese would probably come over their line as well and the fight could be on. Think we would sit that one out or pile in? We could be in deep Kimchee either way.
