Today's news complicates this issue, I would say. Koffi Anan is leaving and official UN attitudes will change again, thank goodness. I don't know much about this guy, but he couldn't be much worse than Anan. I guess Boutros Boutros Ghali was even worse.

I've been gone for a few days, built 2 computers, busy with family.

I'm not too worried about N Korea besides I think they are totally bluffing
especially after those pathetic missile tests.
Kim Jon Ill reminds me of the little kid who wants attention and can never
    get enough.
The only thing we have to worry about is him selling weapons to our enemies.

Worst case scenario is, Does he want to live?
Let's say he sent a missile nuclear or not to Japan or S Korea.
That would be the end of N Korea today and himself meaning the world
would then unite and someone would take down his administration.
I willing to bet he wouldn't do this because he likes his life of priviledge.
    I'm calling his bluff.

Now Iran is a different story, that nut who sounded like a democrat giving
some of his speeches in the USA, this guy seemed nice to some people in
this country but is seems to me he wouldn't mind dying for his religion and
the end of the world of today.
This is what we have to fear.

Btw, what good would an embargo do against N Korea?
They still could buy and sell with or through China.
I don't think for one moment that the Chinese would be in our corner.
