I agree, but the call for war may be a bit early. Lets see what China does. Christians shouldn't seek what is of this world, but what is of the kingdom of God. If war is a part of world order it is especially useless to a Christian.
War is a terrible thing! War is always the result of sin (Romans 3:10-18). The law will go out from Zion, the word of the Lord from Jerusalem. He will judge between the nations and will settle disputes for many peoples. They will beat their swords into plowshares and their spears into pruning hooks. Nation will not take up sword against nation, nor will they train for war anymore. (NIV, Isaiah 2:3-4) “Where do wars and fights come from among you? Do they not come from your desires for pleasure that war in your members?2 You lust and do not have. You murder and covet and cannot obtain. You fight and war. Yet you do not have because you do not ask.” (James 4:1-2) “Do not rejoice when your enemy falls, And do not let your heart be glad when he stumbles;18 Lest the Lord see it, and it displease Him, And He turn away His wrath from him.” (Proverbs 24:17-18)
Context... Every verse above is taken out of context. Of course, there is no way you would know that because, most likely, you are not a student of the Bible. My suggestion to you is to look up each verse quoted above, and read the entire chapter it comes from. You may just learn something. :yelwink2:
Not quite... "And He turn away His (God's) wrath from him (enemy).” (Proverbs 24:17-18) God....wrath....?? Wait a minute, I thought God was all peace and love. This verse implies that it is by the wrath of God that the enemy is being conquered.
