The NCAA has had this hanging over their program for like 8 years. That's a decent amount of punishment right there due to the NCAA's shitty ability to accomplish anything.
In the past this was a death penalty type deal... UNC will get a bowl/postseason ban, vacated wins, and reduced scholarships, but nothing from which they cannot bounce back.
Whatever they were doing it didn't make their football team anywhere close to being equal to their hoops.
