Did you really just put LSU and due diligence in the same sentence? At this point, that seems like an oxymoron. I am getting a sinking feeling about this whole OC deal. I think Alleva hired O based on his promising Kiffin (and I have to gag as I type that because I really dislike Kiffin), but I'm not sure that anything is too certain about that. And then what?
Plenty of other options, some probably better than Kiffen. Even more good news is that it won't take much to improve on the job Miles/Cam did with the offense. I just want O to hire someone he trusts and that he is on the same page with as far as offensive philosophy. What OC out there could O hire that wouldn't be an improvement? It looks like it's Kiffen or go to his short list. If Kiffen passes i hope he takes his time and gets a good one. There should be a long list to chose from.
2 Mil to play with should get us somebody good. Then again, Miles had Cam at 1.5 and look what that produced.

Don't know much about him and haven't payed attention to Pitt this year. I'll have to ask @Cajinkid he is like a walking database for coaches. Tells me about guys I never heard of and they are usually legit.
