You know, it's amazing how Lane Kiffin almost destroyed this offseason. With Orgeron putting his foot in his mouth about spread offenses because he thought he was getting Kiffin, from the offer to Tua Tablahblahblah, to recruits dropping like flies because of the waiting on Kiffin, and then if we get Kiffin, how many recruits parents are turned off because of Kiffin. At Alabama you have Saban reigning him in, at LSU you have his buddy in charge. I know think the hire of Matt Canada is probably the best thing that could have happened to LSU other than the resigning of Aranda.
I like this take. The tail very well could have ended up wagging the dog if we had gotten Kiffin. The chain of command will be clear with MC.
and with Aranda having recommended Canada, we should expect to find a cohesive staff. Who knows, maybe this is building a strong foundation for our new associate coach to transition down the road to head coach at LSU. That's a long way off and for the present, let's enjoy where we are at.
Ya Cajun dumbass, that was my point several years ago. Catch up or see your way out of this conversation.
