I think this makes sense. He's a known quality OC and qb developer and it will take at least a couple years for him to be on a big schools radar as a HC. Whereas, Kiffen would most likely be a one-and-done.

It absolutely does not in any way need to be a home run hire. What it needs to be is a quality hire. A quality OC that can recruit and develop QBs and can develop a passing game is all that's needed.

 

Just hope we don't run an offense that doesn't give the D a breath. I don't want 60-58 type games.
