Think of all the good Qbs that used to go to Houston that will now scratch them off their list.

    We should improve in recruiting.

Miles isn't as dumb as you think he is. He'll appeal to a lot of folks, especially blended with stupid money. He could even back into the Big 12 somehow.

Of course, he seems to have lost a lot of fire from his Okie St days. He could crash and burn like he was doing here cos he dgaf.

I don't think he is dumb, I just don't think we suffer in recruiting. You could put saban there and it would still be Houston.

Recruiting doing great at this time...remember we are inheriting the tactics that used to really mess with us. The smoke and mirrors approach that used to give us all kinds of last minute headaches. We will see it for recruiting players and hiring assistants etc...get ready if you aren't already.

Les to Houston if that happens wouldn't really hurt us but may have some impact on A&M which I am all for.

Les would be good for UH and solve their long term issue. Don't be fooled Les will still recruit well, but it wouldn't hurt us. Les is likable and trusting, which is what parents like. I'd have no problem sending my son to a team coached by him. At his age that competition level may be perfect for him as well.

If Houston starts pouring money into their program the Big 12 might reconsider. Or the Big 12 could implode and Houston might be there to help pick up the pieces.

Houston football made me think about LSU basketball, though. It isn't just what you pay the head coach, its total investment in the program that really matters. Which we don't really have in basketball.

Can you put this in layman's terms for recruiting dummies?
