I am pulling for Texas but i think USC wins. Dont like either one of them but it will be a great game.

It could be one of those last drive kind of games.

If i was USC i wouldnt wait till the second half to play.

Texas. Texas will trash USC. This will make USC fans weep. This will make me happy.

Pete Carroll probably has already thought of a great way to stop Vince Young. USC will definitely not be stopped in this game.

I think USC will win 37-24, but pulling for Texas.

I would have to agree... this is the trojans time of the year to sacrifice yet another big 12 team to the offensive god's slaughter.

Ask me last year, or the year before and I'd say Texas just for the fact that I hate USC. But, this team really is special and it will be a great game. The first true test for USC. I think Texas is good enough to beat them, but I'm unsure that USC knows how to lose.

If USC wins, they'll do it with the lowest ranked defensive unit for a National Champion in over 50 years.

It'll be a shoot-out because both are in the top 2 offensively, but Texas has a top 3 defense.....USC has the 39th ranked defense.

Offense wins games....but defense wins championships. USC will no doubt score a couple of their signature 50-yard scoring strikes, but Texas has enough offense to answer, and a better offense suited to sustaining drives and keeping USC's offense off the field. Texas' defense will also hold USC in check (minus, like I said, 1 or 2 long scoring plays).

    Texas wins 38-31

Texas doesn't have enough defense if they keep trying to borrow $5.00 bucks for pizza on 6th St a 0300.
Same for offense......................if UT/T was down to a running team like Okie St by 19 at half you can double that score against USC................the Whorns don't have anybody that can catch OR tackle Bush, or White, and a few others. A&M's 107 ranked defense ALMOST did the job............rankings don't mean crap.
