Can't live in ECA till your sophmore year anyway, but I didn't like it... My apartment now (Oakbrook) is about the same cost & 3 times larger, better everything & it's less than 2 miles from campus. Living on campus isn't really as big of an advantage as it seems. I skipped class more when I lived on campus because I didn't feel like walking. In 03, I lived in the 4 person room on the 3rd floor of ELV for a couple weeks, then got smart & transferred to a 2 person in WLV for the rest of the year.
Yeah, I just live on campus because I can roll out of bed 10 minutes before class, not have to fight traffic on gameday, and hell, as long as my parents pay it and the university gives me the opportunity to live there, I'll take it. I should be paying my own way, but...:hihi: Oh, and true, I've never been stopped drinking at ELV. Well once, but the RA just made us pour it out. That was a LOT of beer down the drain. And the time I had alcohol poisoning, I was drinking off campus and my roommate had to call the cops cause I was on the floor of ELV 321 turning blue. Past two years I lived in ELV 321, this year I live in ELV 17 (Basement Nigga!) LSU! :crystal:
Well, if it make you feel better Hatch, I lived in Power....bet most of these guys couldn't find it on a map :hihi:
i'm a freshman at lsu from virginia and i stayed in broussard this year and i met people pretty easily and the rooms are pretty good size...
Basement representing! Almost all of us got our names on brass plates nailed to our doors because they were trying out some stupid HC Fellow program. Not sure if it's still around, but the Fellas as we called it didn't do a thing. Is Miss Charlotte still at the desk? I used to work 12-6 am at that stinking desk. I bet they've redone that desk because it was nasty. Didn't they tear down Power in 97?
I don't know if everyone in here knows about it, but we have a facebook group for TigerForums. Just letting you know. :yelwink2:
Yeah I'm in Fellows. We still don't do ****. Charlotte still works the desk. I worked it from 9-midnight Friday nights last semester. Suckiest work hours ever.
