Yes very gruesome and hard for American citizens to imagine possible. However we all need to know the sort of animals we are dealing with. Every American should force himself to see the video, no one should bury their head in the sand and hide from the very grim truth. What is equally sad is that American citizens need to put themselves at such risk to get a job to support their families. IMO, the media is also to blame. Those pictures of prisoners should've been kept classified. Now I'm afraid that their retaliation has stemmed more firepower from us. Which is what she should've done all along, but we still left them with a pulse.
The State Department asked CBSuck not to show the pictures, they did anyway. Where are the ethics for the media? I hope they are fined heavily or are audited and found to be like Enron. I'd love nothing more than to see CBSuck taken down after this...
Retaliation? What was 9/11 retaliation for? These extremists have been murdering US citizens for years because they don't like us for many insane reasons. They don't need a reson to kill they just love to kill. Retaliation is a word they have used as an excuse to kill for more years than you or I have been alive. Those pictures did not cause the death that we saw yesterday, extremist crazy killers caused his death. How many civillians have been killed in Iraq so far? The State Department only asked them to delay the airing of the photos not to suppress them completely according to the testimony I watched with Rumsfeld. Those pictures would have come out eventually and the American people have the right to know what is going on in a case such as this. I do agree that the media has no morals nor feels any duty to country. They are usually scum sucking low lifes that feed off others misery, however IMO these pictures needed to be shown now so we could move on. We do not want to be having this discussion five years form now as the photos leak out causing more tesion with rag heads at a later date.JMHO
Good point Twisted. I guess its better that the pictures come out now while tensions are still high. We don't want them to come out when the dust has settled and flames are low. It'll be like adding gasonline to the fire when its almost burned out. I think that the recent incident is a direct retaliation for the treatment of prisoners b/c the scumbags in the video said it was. All the other acts of terror and violence are invoked by their jealousy of the American way, they American life style. They aggravate and infuriate the hell out of me!!!
Iraqi prisoners are abused in a prison in Iraq and the world is outraged. A 26 year old american civilian has his head sawed off on videotape by Al Queda terrorists in Iraq and you only hear about it from Fox News and Drudge. There are people in this world who are sub-human. These are some of them. They do not deserve our mercy, only our retribution.
