1. You have the info and I am too lazy to search for it so...

Do these portable radios require some sort of antennae or something mounted on vehicle? How does it work?
  2. It has a small antenna, about the size of a deck of cards. 20' cord. Mine works inside the car (without putting the magnet on the hood) or in a hotel room. You could look at Bestbuy.com and probably find one.

  3. Ahhh so if I understand correctly, I can get a portable player and an antennae and likely use it in hotel room? Worst case scenario I place antennae on top of vehicle and listen to game in vehicle.

  4. not unless you're an entomologist.
  5. &%^*
  6. One more question, pensacola. What sirius channel do I get Hawthorne's radio broadcast of the game on?
  7. Yeah, but then its still Hawthorne! Hopefully, it will be on Gameplan, so I can watch it. I'm so spoiled now. I have seen every game this year on TV ('cept Arky State which was, sorta, on streaming video). When I was a kid, I almost always had to listen to the John Ferguson broadcast on the radio (and wonder what the heck was happening!) for the away games - but then, I was in Tiger Stadium for all the home games. Don't get to go to many nowadays...

    :geaux:
  8. Ahh...John Ferguson....."and he's bottled up at the 41 yard line..." must've said "bottled up" 20 times a game. The good old days......... :)
  9. It's not on the same channel every time, but it is easy to find- they have all the football games grouped in the low 100's and it will show up on the radio display as you scroll.
  10. I cannot imagine that LSU won't put this game on PPV. They will make a fortune.
