You know guys.... After 4 yerrs of Curley Hallman & half of the time with Dinardo, we will have to prove ourselves. IF, (big word if), we hadn't lost Mauck last year, I believe we would have won the SEC. Unfortunatley we have not been consistent winning & have not earned National respect. Having said that, I believe we have as good a shot at the national championship this year as anyone. We are a top 7 team, & will likely move up after a few more games. One day everyone will be on the bandwagon saying stuff like I new LSU back when... yada yada. Sort of like what Skip did with the baseball program. Go Tigers!

I dunno, mesquite, I kinda thought that was funny. I kind of agree partly with both of you. It is definitely too early to KNOW who the best team in the SEC is, but we certainly know who are the teams to beat. Right now, thats UT, LSU, and ARK, if only because those teams are undefeated.

You know what makes me really mad. Yes Georgia had to miss fgs fo us to win but why doen'st anyone give us credit for the
fact that we forced them to settle for fgs? Don't you thnk they would much rather have had TDs instead?

rania: Your comments are right on target. When our defense plays extremely well, it does not mean that the Geogia offense played poorly. It simply means that our great defense played better than their great offense; and, on the other side of the coin, our offense also played better than their much-hyped defense.
