Anyone know how many QB sacks OU's offense gave up this year?

 

OU is a far better team than USC.. look what they have done all year. Very well coached. This will be a great game. USC will get beat by MICH. I think this is the match up LSU has been looking for all season. Good luck OU...... Welcome to the south.

SEC IS WITHOUT A DOUBT ... THE BEST CONFERENCE ... The Big 12 & The Big 10 are neck and neck for #2, and it takes a look at the Top 25 and the Bowls to see that ... plus head to head matchups like ... OK nipping Bama 20-13 ... no fluke ... and UNRANKED ARKANSAS kicking Texas' arse ... Texas at #5 is a joke ... even with Vince Young, a great Frosh QB, and a testament to the DEFENSELESS Big 12 ... where only 2 teams have a Top 25 Dee ... OK & KSU ... saw the KSU trainwreck coming ... and we've seen what Heisman Trophy WINNER WHITE did when OK saw a pressure Dee ... hell, saw it in the second half of the Baylor game ... lord, almighty ... thought White was "DONE" with more knee damage on one play in the 2nd half ... a second half where a pitiful Baylor Dee put White on his arse 5 times. Why a coach like Stoops would play him in that second half with 41 points on the board is beyond me ... and common sense ... and a 2.5MM USD/yr salary ... #1 in USA

IF OK had kept it respectable in a close loss ... yes ... they would have deserved a bid. USC has no argument with LSU going to the Sugar Bowl ... as well they shouldn't.

 

Good, it sounds a lot like it was around here the week of the Florida game. Lets hope their players are buying all the hype also. However after the way they got their asses handed to them last week they probably will not over look anyone. Games are not won on paper or in the papers let em talk big.

 

There is talk of OU having to apologize for the hype during the season. I have to say as a Tiger fan living 5 miles from Norman, Ou has nothing to apologize for. Bob Stoops and his players were not the ones blowing air about that stuff. It was the same talking heads that don't give LSU a snowballs chance in hell in the game. I don't give a rat's ass about OU but I must give Bob Stoops and his players credit. They are class, just like Nick and our boys. None of them made any excuses for the debacle against KSU. Unlike the fans and the talking heads, they gave KSU credit for kicking their ass. This is what I mean when I say the OU fans are the biggest whiners in the world. Never does the opponent play well-it is always that Ou played poorly or the other team got lucky or it was the refs, etc.,etc. If we didn't have Nick, I'd want Bob leading our program.They are in the same class :geaux: :lsug: :lsug: :lsug:

Nice try. The Sooner faithful are certainly taking the Tigers very seriously and any attempt by you to inflame your fans by saying anything other than that are erroneous.
We don't now, nor ever have, engaged in mindless inflammartory, bragging, and chest beating even when it was deserved,ie. every time we play the LongWhorns.
Just trying to keep the records straight her Tiger fans.
The only thing I will admit to is this-
We will be prepared for a good ole' fashioned dog fight.

 

I have a ton of respect for OU fans. They seem to be very smart and very respectable. They know that this game will be a fight and they know we will be ready. Good look Sooners. I hope you guys enjoy the trip to the BIG SLEEZY....I mean Big Easy....I just love New Orleans!!!

 

I don't know if he'll read this but, Hey SoonerRad, you must not have a radio or else you never turn it on to the sports talk up here. Traber, Eschbach, Humpman,BBJ and the morons over on KREF been talking about this OU team being the greatest college team in the history of the game. According to them and the fans I listen to calling in, there isn't another team in the land that can stay on the field with them. I never heard any of that coming from Stoops or his players. All he ever said was that this was a very good team, bettter than the 2000 champs.
All I heard about (and still hear) from the fans calling in is that Ou came out flat against KS, that the field was bad and the players kept slipping and the weather was cold and that Mike Stoops leaving upset them and one excuse after another, just like Ga. did after our first game.
BBJ was the only one I've heard give kudos to KS and say that they simply kicked OU's ass.
All I've heard about LSU from them is we are a decent team but not as good as Ou and we'd rather be playing SC.
I know Hump and Traber stated before this all shook out that they hoped OU played LSU instead of SC because it would be an easier game. According to them, SC's offense is better and their defense is just as good as ours. All they've done is belittle our schedule without knowing the facts behind it.
I think I've proved that I am a fair person by giving praise to OU's program.
We look forward to hosting you Sooners. When you come down, pay attention and we'll teach you how to turn a football game into a happening!

Well I don't know where Mike the Tiger get's his info from But
the Sooners RESPECT the Tigers much more than USC.LSU will
be the BEST team the Sooners have faced all year.Let the best
team win & so be it.
