I am in MS now. Still close enough to drive back when I need GOOD seafood, or for family gatherings. My mom's family are Mayers and Cannon's.
Quick question, Who was the last SEC Champion not to win their Bowl game? I know LSU has won both and Georgia won last year, so I'm not sure how long that streak goes back.
i live in marietta as well, and i work in buckhead. i can't describe how much i'm enjoying the fact the the uga guys in my office can't say a word after all crap they were talking before the first game, and especially before the seccg. i'm having a lot of fun with it. another question for the other transplants. is there anywhere to get decent seafood in the metro area? someone told me to try papadeaux, and it was awful. i've heard there is a place up in kennesaw, but i'm not sure how good/bad it is.
My aunt and uncle live in Flowery Branch. My uncle is an LSU grad. He has been wearing his LSU garb all year and has taken some good natured flak. He wore his LSU sweatshirt to work Monday but I haven't talked to them since so I don't know how that went. They say the Georgia fans are much nicer than the Tenn. fans were when they lived in Clarksville, Tenn.
tiger-in_atl....you MUST make the short drive up I-75 to downtown Acworth and go to Henry's..order the Louisiana OO La La, and wait for the flashbacks to come to you. Don't go to Comeauxs or Mama may's.
