You know, I’m a gun advocate, but I’m sick of the dumb ass arguments. I hate the whole gun is a tool argument or you die more in cars than from guns.

1. A gun is a weapon that has 1 purpose, to kill. If they don’t kill, they are worthless.

2. Cars are made to transport people around.

It’s a false equivalency.

The only argument for guns is because fuck you this is America, and don’t tell me how to Freedom.

 

So the deaths don't matter? We have enough vehicle laws, no way to prevent more? Sounds very subjective. I was merely pointing out the hypocrisy of his comparison and yours as well.

 

If there is a lack of security how are they going to enforce it?

 

I didn’t say that, what I’m saying is I can’t stand the excuses people make when it comes to defending guns. They really pull shit out of their ass, more people were killed by cars gonna ban cars too? I hate that. It’s a false equivalency.

 

Lives lost not equal? I didn't make the equivalency argument, he did and you did. The logic that simply making more laws and giving gov more power is better never worked anywhere. Laws only work for people that are law-abiding. I'm done with your subjective oversimplification.
