Cajun Field seats 34,000... had 38,000 for the 96 Texas A&M game.

I would think one advantage to having a new staff is that teams preparing to play you are limited in there scouting report. For example, the OC for our first 3 games or so is going to have to go back and look at tape from when he (Pellini)was at Nebraska. There is no guarantee that he will have the same scheme but that will be their best guess. If we have a spring game that is on Cox for 4 months then our opponents have a little more to work with.

LSU playing its spring game at ULL's Cajun Field is not going to happen. The hardcore ULL fans here in Lafayette define a ULL fan as someone who hates LSU. There is no way they would stand for it. I would be shocked.

I went to ULL.. and i can tell you that the majority of the people who go there root for LSU. If LSU had its spring game at Gajun Field, the only beef ULL people would have is not being able to get tickets.

As far as football is concerned I agree with you, almost all of the USL students are LSU fans. Now the administration is probably a totally different story.

yeah.. when it comes to basketball, baseball, and softball, ULL people root for ULL, but everyone in south louisiana was raised on LSU football like mother's milk... THe only ULL people who dont root for LSU in football are girls who dont get it and guys who probably played soccer.
