Obviously the talking heads are not taking into consideration that Les has two weeks to prepare his team for Bama.:milesmic: As the wise man once said, "we'll see.":yelwink2:
The "E" in ESPN no longer stands for "Entertainment" because a while ago they changed the name of the network to "ESPN" and entirely dropped the Entertainment and Sports Network moniker. ESPN stands for ESPN and nothing else. The talking heads like Bama to beat LSU because they believe that Saban is better than Miles and they KNOW that the SEC officials will not allow Bama to be harmed by Penalties. LSU will have to take the ball away and win the game by force. LSU will get NO help from the SEC refs. A big factor in their pick is that Bama is at home.
This is actually right on with what I've been thinking. The teams are very similar, so something has to give. That something will be he abilty to pass the ball. Fortunately, we've got the upper hand in that department. Lee is a 5th year senior with all the experience in pressure situations. He's actually played at BDS before. AJ, on the other hand, hasn't really had to win games by himself before. This will be his first big test. Moreover, we've got the most efficiet passage unit in the conference and better receivers than bama. And oh yeah, we've got another senior QB with a great set of wheels to keep the D off-balance. I think we have a clear advantage in the passing game. QB play and punting will be the reasons that we beat bama.
