That's the spirit! Have some green. Unfortunately, there is so much more to it. Off to Tempe it is. :geauxtige
What's even more disturbing is the word is (from a tv reporter who posts on td) is that this game is NOT a swap for 2008. According to his, we are still going to Tempe in 2008...and they are negotiating for ASU to return here at some point. So we go to Tempe twice, they are negotiating for ASU to play here once. That's ridiculous..wtf is ASU's problem with just swapping the game? That sounds unreasonable to me.
I agree, at least I hope not. If they are thinking about hotels the season is shot. We don't have to have a sellout croed to play a football game. Better some inconvenienced fans than to lose the season.
If this is true, I say we just drop ASU in 2008, pay the penalty and find another opponent. Skip cannot allow LSU to be screwed like this.
would any of us want to go to the campus and tailgate when at the same campus people have lost everything and are in a daily battle with life and death? i think this is the best for all involved. when lsu agreed to house people from new orleans they should have realized that this situation wasn't going to go away in several weeks. sometimes things are more important than sports. after reading dubiuos (sp) article this a.m. it makes more and more sense not to play the game at tiger stadium.
