hey sparky....my point is that the SEC is far deeper than the Pac-10 and I think any number of SEC teams after LSU and Fla would be #2 in that league. my point on TN-Cal is that they are a 'wash' over the last 2 seasons.
As a casual oberver, I've gotten the impression that you and vball have befriended one another...to the point where you lost some bet with her or something and had to suffer the indignity of donning a USC shirt. I'm just jabbin' with ya anyway man. No, Tenn & Auburn have deservedly fallen out of the Top 25, and I haven't contended otherwise. And that just gives you an idea of the parity that exists in the SEC that doesn't exist anywhere else.
I love the SEC as much as the next guy, but saying UT would take 7 out of 10 from Cal is pure speculation. There's no way of knowing. Furthermore, which UT team and which Cal team are we talking here, last years or this years?
Come on Tiga! First, they didn't "paste" UcheaT...they beat them...@Cal. Second, Houston is "decent"... within the context of CUSA. Michigan...no comment. aTm...did you watch Thursday night's game?? I don't think anyone will argue against Cal being the second best team in the Pac 1(0)...but UcheaT is at best #6 in the SEC...and they did NOT "paste" them. Now last season, UcheaT PASTED Cal @ UcheaT...but this year's game was a lot closer @ Cal.
First, I believe LSU, no, I know LSU is a more complete team and feel very good about our chances with USC right now......barring injuries etc. It's clear to me we are playing more solid and their secondary can't match ours, for one thing. On the bet, it was first two rounds but I still like the bet cause the good thing about LSU is a lot of our young players are making big plays. I mean, Danny McRay, a soph who was 3* recruit, RP, KW, TH, CD, RD, so many. It's simply amazing to think that many of our "Big players" won't be draft eligible so in the context, yes, I still believe what I said; however, it's certainly should be close. LSU...........5 USC..........7 I hope I'm wrong and I also think that several former LSU players doing so well in the NFL would make NFL owners stop and look.
