OU is totally guard-oriented after lossing their only 2 significant big men during the season (one to injury; the other to suspension). They have a 5'7" point guard who can score with his great quickness as well as a couple fo other perimeter scorers. LSU has more talent, and I think the Tigers will win if Hudson, Mitchell, and Bass show up to play.
so we give the #1 overall seed in the dance all they can handle minus the team "leader" yet get crushed by Auburn/Auburn and SC. Here is my prediction....i predict i have better odds guessing at my lottery numbers.
Who really gives a good ****ttttttttttttt about the NIT It's time to "Dump" Brady ... don't even watch an NIT game. LSU Basketball Coaching ... sucks ... LSU deserves much better. Support LSU and the Skipper ... let's all tell LSU it's time to take action and DUMP BRADY
I'm going and am prepared for the worst....roving bands of drunken thugs chanting Boomer Sooner...wait a minute... that's every Saturday nite in Bricktown...
The team has become guard oriented but have 2 good post defenders in Gilbert(6'8 with a long arm span) and Turner(6'11). And Foust will play at the post although he's more of a 3. He'll be fun to watch. Drew Lavender went to HS with Foust. He's a great PG. Has been the most consistant guy for OU this year. Unbelievable quick and can make it from anywhere on the court. Great passer too. Lawrance McKenzie, and the afore mentioned Jaison Williams are 3 point shooters. Jason Detrick shoots too many 3's but when he penetrates and tries to create he's dangerous. De'Angelo Alexander is very similar to him but he doesn't make as many bone head decisions. If the shots go in it's hard to beat OU. If they don't they have to rely on an inconsistant rebounding and defensive team that when at their best is hard to beat but hasn't been at their best most games this year.
You'll see similar picks every game. Stoops yells at his players every game after any mistake happens even if that mistake ends up in a 10 yard loss for the other team.
