It is just an example of his dedication. Other coaches have success their own way, but I think it is a fair statement to say that no coach will out work Saban. I believe that Saban accomplished something at LSU that had been long missing - LSU is now mentioned as a national player on a regular basis. That wasn't the case before Saban arrived, even before the black hole we suffered during the late 80s. When speaking of him declining the invitation and how that relates to the players, it may not be THE ploy that gains the players' respect, but it can be an anecdotal example which inspires the players.
Uh, yeah, I'm aware of that, but you used it as a plural and there is no plural for precedence. Maybe precedenceses?
I thought it was disrespectful, regardless of his political affiliation. There are a lot of coaches better than he is that have taken time out of their schedules to do other things, and still manage to win. I also thought it was extremely distateful & disrespectful that he decided to announce his decision to leave LSU on Christmas Day, a very important Holiday for many people.
I thought it was disrespcetful, selfish, and rude. How can any man think he is important enough to interrupt training camp? Damn. This guy is supposed to be the leader of our country, and he doesn't realize how important it is to millions of Americans that football season is getting started. And no I'm not being sarcastic.
What do you know about it, you big, furry, buggering walrus? Knowing that your flippers don"t allow for accurate typing, I'll ignore your hypocritical punctuation malfunctions. Your malfeasance is flaring up with your hemorroids, grampa. Snap, snap, snap.
