just think, letting him vent here for weeks was therapeutic. unfortunately, it allowed some cats to survive he woulda killed instead of posting here.
Awwwww, everybody just needed a big ole hug from the Nickster. Isn't that sweet? Glad to see everything is hunky dory now.
This is exactly what I had mentioned to my nephew (huge LSU fan as well). He knew that if he declined this offer, too many NFL bridges would have been burned. He knew it. He HAD to take it.
Amen, brother. You just summed up my own feelings better than I ever could. Rep points coming your way.
For me, I was mad he announced on Christmas Day. But, in reality, I was really just upset the man was leaving, even though I knew he would sooner or later. I mean, I had no doubt he would go to the NFL sooner or later. As for Christmas Day. Think about, CBS broke coverage of the NFL football game to show the beginning of Nick's Press Conference. This was great public relations for LSU. It makes us look like the national power we want to be. Saban was the best damn coach in LSU history. We were lucky to have him when we did.
i still kinda hate the sob. you know, the usual love/hate/dreadlocks type of relationship we all go through. at least people can finally cut their umbilical cord from the saints with a true reason to pull for another NFL team. that in itself may have been worth him leaving altogether. :hihi: :hihi:
