I've never really cared about the Siants but if they play in Tiger Stadium I WILL go to several of their games.

The NFL will not let New Orleans lose their team right now. It would be a PR nightmare. The Saints are not going anywhere.

Then let's hope the NFL has more collectibe brains than the NCAA.

If Benson moves the team it will be to Los Angeles. There's too much money to leave on the table and the NFL solves their Los Angeles problem.

Shreveport is Cowboy country they shouldn't be rewarded with a year of NFL games.

San Antonio is too far for the saints. How about Rice Stadium in Houston or the Liberty Bowl. I think Tiger Stadium would be okay unless it gets too much in the way, but the NFL and Saints can be gouged for some money for rent and LSU can charge for parking and take the concessions and use that money for an improvement in LSU's facilities and maybe get some books for middleton.

I live in Shreveport and that is certainly not true. I know tons more people that support the Saints over the Cowboys. I see Saints hats, t-shirts, stickers on cars, etc....far more than I see Cowboys stuff.

I will personally welcome them. I am a bandwagon Saints fan, but who knows, The curse might be broken if they do not play in the dome. Maybe a superbowl.

OK... I am dreaming now but could you imagine LSU winning the NC and Saints winning the SB. Both teams share the same home...

I think that would be the most exciting season I could imagine. It would certainly give the state something to cheer about in the midst of this disaster.

If Benson wanted to move this team he would have done it by now. He is commited to the state. He could have moved to San Antonio or LA for a long time now for substantial profit, but has elected to stay a part of New Orleans. He may be a piss poor owner, but he is committed to Louisiana.
