just admit that you were wrong and didn't want to admit that i called him a "USC piece of crap" for a plethora of other reasons, including the actual substance of his statements. you may find that comment nearest that particular one, but you're a fool if you think that is the sole contributor. attention span. in general, i don't particularly give much of a crap about who does what and when regarding the combine. but in this particular instance, as an individual who tried to take advantage of a ruling that could have potentially RUINED college football, it is my assertion that MW is in no position to make such self-centered comments as "The combine, it's a stage, but I don't think it's my personal stage. I think I owe it to myself to give me a day where it's my day and it's all about me. . ." IMO, skipping a year of football should entitle him to absolutely zilch. you see, it's a two-part statement, and you're only looking at half of it. many NFL coaches, in fact, made comments indicating that they seemed to be rubbed the wrong way by his attitude as well. so maybe you should tell them that they're wong, too.
First off, before you do anything(before even reading this post), pull out the old English book and check out the chapters on capitalization and incomplete sentences. Secondly, what you just said makes no sense. It's obvious from reading your BS posts that you had no idea that all top players hold "pro days" where scouts can work more one on one with athletes. When Mike Williams says those comments, he is referring not to some day that he has, without precedent, set up. You act like he has created this "Mike Williams" day that no one else has done. HE WAS REFERRING TO HIS PRO DAY, WHICH IS NOT UNUSUAL. Also, why would he risk injury in Indianapolis, but he can save his 40 time for his pro day? Let the GD kid do whats best for himself, not whats best for some guy behind his computer. Third, you say you called him a USC piece of crap for a plethora of reasons. If you are telling the truth and you really are basing it on a plethora of reasons, then grow up. I was pissed as hell that they claimed a national championship when we actually one it, but I am not going to sit here and call any player that USC has a piece of crap for the rest of my life. Fourth, he skipped a year of football because Maurice Clarrett was ruled eligible for the draft. Are you really going to sit here and tell me that because a judge reversed that ruling and put Mike Williams in a bad situation that he deserves "zilch?" That is ridiculous. The man made a mistake, he sat out his year which could be considered "punishment," but nooooo...you are going to hold him to that for the rest of his life. Damn man, you must really hold onto things in a bad way... PS...Read your posts before posting them. Some sentences make absolutely no sense.
son, i don't need your lectures on grammar practices. i aced english courses my entire life, all the way through college, and also had stories published. however, i see no need to incorporate such learnings on a GD internet forum. if it bothers you that badly, you don't have to stinkin' read it. if one "incomplete" sentence, which was actually a brief statement on what you evidently lack, disturbs you so deeply, then YOU need to get over it, grammar champ. (by the way, the term "won" is in reference to a victory, much like ours in the national championship of '03. "one", on the other hand, is a number, representing a singular value. just thought i'd pass that on since it is obviously troubling you) if i need to "grow up" because i don't like MW for many reasons, would it make me mature if i didn't like him for one reason? guess what, sunshine...there are a lot of athletes i don't like. if you so desire, i can make a list and you can try and change my mind about all of them. or, you can just accept the fact that i don't like them, and spend your time worrying about more pertinent subjects. i think it's fantastic that you're in love with MW. however, i very strongly disagree, and frown upon, some of his actions and decisions. and there isn't a damn thing that you, or anyone else, can do about it. it's quite funny how you want to lecture and analyze me about how i "hold on to things", yet you can't seem to let this one go. quite frankly, i could not give less of a $hit whether or not you, or anyone else for that matter, believes me for whatever reasons. its glaringly obvious that you are determined to only examine half of my statement(s), so i see no further need to prove my point. you are having some major difficulty digesting the entirety of it, and i refuse to spoonfeed it to you yet again. unlike yourself, i choose not to sound like a broken record. i must offer you the same advice that you so kindly sent my way: read my posts before commenting on them. most of your recants make absolutely no sense.
I'm not going to even bother going further because I have made my point( and you have furthered my point with your ridiculous posts). There are a lot of posters on here that throw English out the window, but I can still completely understand what they are saying. Your posts not only lack English, but also coherence. If you would have just admitted that you were wrong about this PARTICULAR incident with Mike Williams, then I and NolimitMD would have left it alone. But, you brought it all on yourself....
