1. Seriously, can you give it a rest already? It's nonsense like this that is unnecessarily bashing a Tiger. Not a rival player, mind you. But a Tiger. It's past time to let it go.
  2. Yes, he was awful, and with one year with Sean Payton he guided the Cowboys to a 10-6 record. That was my point.

I personally don't think JJ makes an NFL roster at QB, but the coaching level difference is huge especially when football becomes your job 24/7.
  3. Seriously, have you read this entire thread. I am not the lone wolf. If what I was saying wasn't true that he looked like he was playing for bama on Jan 9th how did LSU freek make a video out of it? Crystal ball thrown right to bama by JJ.

He stopped being a tiger when he threw Miles under the bus. Plus tigers take responsibility for their actions. He didn't do that either.

How can you have it both ways? How can you support JJ who threw Miles under the bus or support Miles who stood by this kid's side?
  4. Thank you.
  5. You win and lose as a team. There's plenty to be excited and optimistic about.. we're in the greatest run in LSU football history right now. You won't ever win every game. Enjoy this while it lasts.
  6. It's not just this thread. If JJ is EVER mentioned, you jump all over him, character assassination style.

I didn't like his performance on January 9th, but I liked the performance of the offensive line even less. I also disliked our defense being unable to stop McCarron's short passing game and not sacking him (we whiffed on several). I disliked giving up a 60-yard punt return after our first offensive series, after giving up 2 feet of returns the entire season. I disliked that Miles didn't try JL in the game (not that I'm sure it would've helped.)

In short, the past 4 years at QB were not good--and that includes JL and JJ. It all came to a head on January 9th, but that's two months in the past, spring football is in full swing, and JJ and JL have moved on. Why can't we fans move on? One team loses the BCSNCG every year. It sucks, but it happens. JJ didn't lose that game by himself, and we're "enjoying" the best years EVER of LSU football.

With that being said, the venom spouted in JJ's direction is over the top. I'll stand by my "he was a Tiger" remark and leave it at that.

  7. I'm going to spare everyone the time and trouble of responding to FemTirk's posts by summarizing them all here:

    1. "JJ sucks" x 1,000,000
    2. "You criticized him too! Double standard!"
    3. "I have freedom of speech"

Ignore list is a wonderful feature, by the way.
  8. Great post, I agree with all of the above.

  10. Like the way you follow your avatar quote lady. All of you who relish the personal attacks on JJ (see I am NOT singleing you out) need to look inside your hearts and ask if it is the way you would like your children to act in another circumstance. Would you make that comment about someone else in front of your mother?

Act like the quote you display.
