Combine my a** They have 4 years of game film to break down. Whoever suffers thru that and still wants to draft JJ is an idiot.

This really sums up why JJ is not going to play in the NFL. Jj may be athletic but he is not an athletic QB. He is not even a partial package at QB. I agree, any GM or coach who drafts Jj should have their head examined.

    Not necessarily.

We needed him one game. That wasn't the issue. Every now and then Tebow impresses in the NFL, but that doesn't make him a long-term option at QB.

If a QB can't read defenses and isn't accurate, he is of no value to an NFL team. The fact that highly-paid personnel men haven't figured this out yet baffles me.

There's a reason that most QBs don't do the bench press test. Nobody cares.

They don't need to watch 4 years worth they can stop at the first year or his last year and get all the info the need. Don't make these poor people suffer.

But he didn't really mature there, TT. Look at the veritable cauldron that is the QB position in the SEC (especially the SEC West). So many QB's this past year alone have been dropped into the game, learned the playbook (more than five plays, I'll wager), then come out and excelled! We have faced them! Look at Bama! Look at AJ McCarron! He was on track to kick our asses, and how many games had he played in CFB?

JJ never lived up to his God-given physical talents; the pre-season hype never showed, except for a few sprints to the EZ, here & there, against opponents who had first been leveled by our O-line. It was JL who actually played up to the reality of the SEC game, with the exception of Nov. 05, 2011.

Like everyone else here, I am enthused for the new season coming, and that JJ has moved on...

And if JJ started the entire season, we would be in the Outback bowl

    I agree.

No way this guy should be considered as a draft pick.

And maybe not even as a free agent.

Let's put it this way, you could argue that Tim Tebow is a better passer than he is.

I don't think you could argue that...because there would be no one to argue against you

Because JJ's 4 TD's and 7 INT's for the ENTIRE season contributed to that?

    Okay cool, just making sure.
