Neyland Stadium...an LSU connection...

    One of the guys at work said he's heard rumors of another skybox to be put around the north end. However, it would have to be constructed over an existing building there. I don't see them expanding it in the near future.

    Yea, I'll be going to Knoxville next year too. I'm really looking forward for that trip.

    UTK is actually planning on reducing seating in Neyland. I'll try to locate a link for the Neyland plans.

    I just wish all of the renovations to Tiger Stadium had stuck with the Roman Colesium theme. Too much of that is hidden now.

    Trust me, if you see Neyland up close and personal, you'll be thankful for Tiger Stadium. They've completely hidden the original structure behind industrial-looking steel. The exterior of the building would fit in nicely at most chemical plants.

    That's an old picture...there are now Skyboxes on the far side (east side). The area in which we're working would be the area around the highest seats on the east side.

    Somewhere under all that steel framing is the original concrete and brick structure. Too bad you can't see it.
