If there are any fans of the old Mid-South Wrestling days, you'll remember this name. "Colonel" Buck Robley died today.

All in the Family, one of the best shows ever. Still enjoy watching those reruns.

David "Deacon" Jones has passed away. One of the members of the Rams' "Fearsome Foursome" d-line of the 60's, Jones was the master of the head slap. He is also known for, a. coining the term "sack", and b. teaching Peter Brady's Jr. High football team that you can sing and still be a tough guy.

As rabid of a football fan as I am, "The Brady Bunch" is why I knew who Deacon Jones was when I was a youngster.

Didn't he also fake an illness to get Joe Namath (or some other big name player of that era) to come visit?

I think that was Bobby. Then there was the one where a compliment from Don Drysdale went to Greg's head. Superstar athletes always seemed to show up at the Brady residence.

This one is a shocker - James 'Tony Soprano' Gandolfini dies of a heart attack at age 51. He was a bit overweight, but he wasn't obese.

    Wow..

Fade to black. Sad day. He carved his name in the film industry hall of fame. It is not often that an actor is so perfect a match for his character. There could never ever have been a better Tony Soprano than him. I guess now we can put the Sopranos movie rumors to rest.
