Lindsay will have to get in line, Sheen is obviously at the front of the line and I don't see her getting past him.

let us know the proper amount of reverence, and will will follow orders, boss. we will do what we can to adequately dissuade folks from speaking honestly among their anonymous internet friends.

I don't believe that's your call to make. Would you feel better if I posted some inane sympathetic crap about a young life ruined and oh what a shame it is? She was an idiot and reaped what she sowed. She probably had her first joint at age 12, but that had nothing to do with it, either.:dis:

Back to the whole "pot is a gateway drug" thingy huh? I'd have expected more from a so-called educated individual.

drug use is generally a symptom, not a cause. winehouse was almost surely a terrifically unhappy person, thats why she did drugs.

in my case, when i am feeling kinda stressed about the world, i medicate myself by getting hammered, and it really works great. lucky for me i dont have skeletons in my closet and all sorts of horrible crap that makes me unhappy. drug addicts do, thats why they do drugs. they dont do drugs because they are happy and everything is awesome and then they tried pot and it opened the door to the rest.

like a person who is a destroyed heroin addict, generally they were abused or somehow emotionally damaged to the point where being wasted all the time is actually better than being sober, because they are so unhappy.

the gateway argument is nonsense. i suspect a huge percentage of here have smoked pot and we are not addicts. it didnt open any gateways for us.

Don't want to dissuade anyone from speaking honestly, I just assumed I could also.

saying something is "uncalled for" means (or at least i thought it meant) that something is not appropriate, and shouldnt be said. i guess i could be wrong and it could mean" i dont agree with your analysis". in that case it seems like it would be more productive to say what you are disagreeing with, like i did.

i would like to be on the record as "calling for" all remarks of any kind, so we can no longer claim anything is uncalled for. i called for it, no matter what it is.
