    Said the car caught on fire too. Hope they were dead before that happened. Not too many worse ways to die then being burned alive.

    Clemons and the Boss met at Asbury Park, about 10 miles away from Monmouth Park horserace track. Clemons died on Saturday. On Sunday, a horse named "E Street Shuffle" won the third race at Monmouth. True story.

    I took one of those Hollywood Stars' Homes tours several years ago and when we went by Peter Falk's house, he was getting out of his car carrying a bag of groceries. He waved at the van and walked to the back door. Just a regular guy.

    I was going to give you some chit about the things you have to endure when you are married . . . but then I remembered some places I've let a skirt drag me to and decided to shut up about it.

    I still get to drive a late model now and then . . . . .
