Beings you seem to follow a lot of these type things tell me if you've heard of a gay rumor. Apparently Burt was quite the flamer and there is quite a list of others that would be released upon his demise. I have never heard of this until today and hope like hell it isn't true.
Well yeah, there were rumors I heard about, mostly after this.... But do I believe it? No. I wouldn't even believe it if 30 fags marched down Hollywood Blvd saying they all shagged him. He was a freakin MAN! He made no apologies, begged no forgiveness. He was very good at his craft, whether athlete, actor or director. Bandit was iconic and the work he and Gleason did on screen was epicly outrageous. Sadly, today's younger audiences can't appreciate that kind of film IMO. Beyond comedy, the ensemble of actors for Deliverance is among the GOAT. Lewis Medlock...great character. I think he never got over Sally Field. In his later years he was pretty much a dick and unprofessional toward some of his fellow actors/actresses but all will be forgiven.....cause he's a freakin MAN.
He's on the record saying he voted for Trump. (Like me, he wouldn't have voted for Trump if he was against State's Rights with marijuana). Trust me, he wouldn't have....he was a real man.
He drank....a lot. He occasionally used drugs. Several ex's claimed he was violent with them. Listen to this commentary by Marlon Brando... Nevermind that Brando probably screwed men, women, children....it's almost like listening to Truman Capote. I think his mind was starting to go the last few years and he made several really unprofessional comments and gave some strange interviews.
