    I met Ron Zappe once. He called me out of the blue looking for some information regarding some property of his. I told him I'd find him a copy of the map that he needed and he dropped by a few days later to pick it up. He walked in the door with a big box of 16 bags of different flavored potato chips inside. Nice guy. And everyone in the department went home with a bag of chips that day.

    John Wooden reportedly in 'grave condition'


    LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- Long time UCLA basketball coach John Wooden, who is known as the "Wizard of Westwood," is reportedly in "grave condition."
    The 99-year-old coached the Bruins to an unprecedented 10 NCAA championships in his final 12 seasons, including a record seven in a row from 1967 to 1973. He is also known for inspiring his teams with his integrity and values.

    They don't make them like him anymore...what a coach !! I wonder if he ever even played basketball in college.
