Champagne wishes and caviar dreams. Robin Leach.
Great job he had.
I used to watch his show just to hear him talk.
I did too. Now that I think about it....why? That tag line was spot on though.
Ed King, Lynyrd Skynryrd original guitarist, dead at 68. Played on the first 3 Skynryd albums. Also belonged to the Strawberry Alarm Clock in the 60's.
Gary Rossington is the only original Skynyrd member alive.
John McCain gone.
I'll throw Kissinger's name in to the watch pot. Dude is 95.
Is Betty White still alive?
Her too. She sure is. Thing is, she still appears in public now and then. When's the last time anyone saw Kissinger?
Olivia de Havilland is 102 and she's recently filed a lawsuit that will finally be going t court. "She's eyeing First Amendment standards after being dismayed by Ryan Murphy's FX series, Feud: Bette and Joan, which she contends falsely portrayed her in a role played by Catherine Zeta-Jones as a vulgar hypocrite and gossip." I wonder if she'll survive to see it settled.
Neil Simon. 91.
A short list of his writing genius....
Barefoot in the Park
The Odd Couple
Last of the Red Hot Lovers
The Sunshine Boys
They're Playing Our Song
I Ought Be In Pictures
Brighton Beach Memoirs
Lost in Yonkers
The Goodbye Girl
Murder by Death
The Slugger's Wife
What a talent.
Interesting....wikipedia's entry on the band lists both the victims and survivors of the plane crash. King is not mentioned; wonder why he wasn't on board?
