Yes! Tom Poston and Betty White were great foils for Newhart and Moore.

There are a lot of not dead celebrities being lumped into the dead celebrity thread. Y'all should tread lightly. This kind of thing could bounce right back at you. Consider who started this thread. All I'm saying here.

What's funny is that he called Larry King and I swear every time a celebrity dies, they get a comment from Larry King and I think, "not dead yet"? (use best Monty Python voice)

Charles Manson is on his deathbed only being kept alive by an IV drip. It's only a matter of time. Makes you hope that there is a real biblical literal hell

I will readily admit I've never seen an episode of The Golden Girls--but I don't think I ever want to see one.

Right, why are they wasting money keeping him alive? Pull the plug already.

They should let Roman Polanski do it.

Loved all of those - I would add WKRP in Cincinnati. Had some of my all time greatest belly laughs. But the all time best for me was the original glory years of SNL. Maybe the most original comedy writing ever. Although if I were old enough to remember 'Your Show of Shows' that might beat everything from what I understand.
