I always hoped for that. One of the best characters from Cheers. Mutual hostility makes for great TV.
I liked Wonder Years but I'll raise you 5 ughs on Golden Girls and 10 ughs on Maude ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Married with Children, Two and a Half Men (while Charlie Sheen was on) Coach, Sanford and Son, Barney Miller, The Jeffersons.
Speaking of mutual hostility did you ever see the Three's Company episode where there is a huge misunderstanding between Jack, Janet and Chrissy? Or the Gilligan's Island episode where they almost get off the island?
Hated it. I knew that there would probably be zero men who would like The Golden Girls. Like I said, to each their own. I would agree with you on Maude. And I will add The Bob Newhart Show. Hilarious.
Both Bob Newhart shows - the one where he was a psychologist in Chicago and the one where he was an innkeeper in Vermont.
From imdb.com...."During its broadcast run amid the many cop shows on television, many real-life police officers considered this the TV show that best depicted the reality of police life."
