It's hard to follow a legend like Rhodes, but it's not THAT bad. Probably my 3rd favorite Ozzy album besides Blizzard of Oz and Diary of a Mad Man.
Well, to be honest it's those 2 and everything else. Zach Wilde is pretty bad ass and went on to make BLS respectable. You just can't compare much to Randy, it's just not fair.
Yes it was. Ozzy was put back on the road in a quickness. Bark at the moon was a drunken mess for an album that should have cooled its heels after Randy died. Like there was barely an opportunity for him to mourn much less respect the direction Randy set out with on the previous 2. Sharon's promotion of Ozzy came at a fault on that LP. Jake was and still is an awesome guitarist, Badlands was proof and he had the good mind not to continue playing Randy's ghost nor Sharon's bitch. . But Bark at the moon shoulda never happen, not to Ozzy and not then.
This is true it's those 2 and everything else. Although I count a lot of sabbath in the mix. We sold our soul is an insane collection.
Hard to find fault in what you're saying, but 99.99% of that is Sharon's fault. Other than the circumstances surrounding it, what don't you like about the music? It's got some good songs, like the title track BatM, Now you See it, Now you Don't, and the classic Rock-N-Roll Rebel. I don't really care for the ballads, but Waiting for Darkness is a cool track as is Centre of Eternity.
