Has anybody thought it ironic that we are talking about missing posters on the celebrity death thread?
I think martin might have appreciated that.

Okie still pops in on occasion. Like you mentioned for Deceks, I think her home is also TOS started by Grad. As is SabanFan and Nutria. They all defected over.

I still like to hold a book, as well. Also, I buy tons of books for my classroom. I now have well over 1000 in my classroom for kids to borrow for our self-selected reading program. I will even check them out to the students who ask for them. I don't always get them back, but if it gets kids reading, then it's worth it.

Wasn't it called tigalaya? Lame name. I checked it out when it first started but it didn't get enough posts to hold my interest. It didn't have enough members

Returning to the death of James Brady, authorities are now saying his death was a directly result of the wounds he suffered in the Reagan assasination attempt, and as such, his death is officially classified a murder. John Hinckley has been in a mental institution since being found insane, so its not likely he'll face charges. Guess this will just go down as a footnote in history.

While that may in fact be the case, I don't see how they could ever get this to court. Defense lawyers around the country have to be licking their chops to get their hands on this one.

It definitely was pretty weird that they decided that. Yes, he was severely disabled after the 1981 shooting, but he lived into his mid-70's. He wasn't murdered. Is Reagan's death a murder? He was badly wounded that day, as well (though absolutely not as badly as Brady.)

I was in 5th grade when the shooting happened, and I am about to start my 23rd year as a teacher--just to give a personal perspective on how long ago the shooting was.
