Yeah, I agree that we should leave the helmets alone. If it ain't broke....! I just thought it would be interesting to see what the eye looked like on the side of the helmet. I would like to see the tiger eye used somewhere though. And just for the record, I HATE the new logo, but I LOVE MY TIGERS!!!
here's to hoping no one changes the helmets, they are classic. I like the eye of the tiger at midfield, but on the helmet it looks like a CFL team
I don't mind the helmets, but I wouldn't mind a revamp of the jersey and pants. A lot of posters in this forum wouldn't mind lsu wearing purple. Why not come up with something similar to how the st. louis rams changed their uniforms that incorporate both colors better. LSU has a new winning future, and new uniforms might be symbolic of this change.
Any opinions on the shade of gold that LSU uses for the uniforms? I'm not saying I want the same gold color that Notre Dame or the Saints use, but something less yellow and more gold could possibly look cool. (I reserve the right to completely change my mind, and to deny ever suggesting this.)
I would not change anything about LSUs uniforms except somehow making the shoulder stripes go all the way around instead of being just a patch on top of the shoulders. As for purple jerseys, I could certainly live with a redesign to look like the Vikings purples.
I will never understand why our helmet logo can't just be our school's logo. It is to the point, simple, and easy to read. Our new logo is terrible, it looks like a "new" school's logo. We have a great helmet logo, that should be the school's visual identity.
